Chief Financial Officer Avista Adventist Hospital

Cheryl Curry, Chief Financial Officer since 2008, came to Avista after working as Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer at Ukiah Valley Medical Center. She has worked within the Adventist Healthcare system for over 25 years and received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration with an Accounting Emphasis from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California.

Cheryl is a licensed CPA, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Member. She currently serves on the Board of the Colorado chapter of HFMA.

Before coming to Avista, Cheryl felt intrigued about living here near the beautiful mountains and fully experiencing all that Colorado affords. Cheryl has been married for 25 years and has two children, both of whom attend university. Their family enjoys snow-skiing in the winter and water-skiing in the summer.
